Great Photography locations in Los Cabos & sorroundings

Having the information on where to shoot is vital and that is what we have for you on this article, information on all of the hot spots in Cabo San Lucas, San Jose del Cabo, Todos Santos and Los barriles.
We also want to show you the best romantic spots for a TTD (trashing of the dress), engagement shoot or for your wedding if thats the case.

Town of Cabo San Lucas and sorroundings

We went to town wanting to go through all of the nice spots for pics and there are a few places you can go and its not too far from each other, basically the touristy places are the best in this case, there isnt really old homes here, its basically all kind of new so you will have a hard time finding old homes, what you will find are nice spots here and there, here are a few pics.

The view of the marina of Cabo San Lucas from up in the air, on the right you can see the nicest mall we have, Puerto Paraiso, you can find pretty much anything inside and it has a very nice view of the marina.
Another nice place where you can eat great food and also maybe take a few pics for an engagement shoot, hoping its not too crowed that day.
The famous Arch or Los Cabos, located in the town of Cabo San Lucas.

The corridor - (this is what connects Cabo San Lucas and San Jose del Cabo)

At the corridor you will basically find hotels, several of them and a few beaches where you can have a TTD that are swimmable, these beaches are; Chileno Beach, Santa Maria, Lovers beach and there is another one on the other side of Sunset Da Monalisa, but it does not really have a name, its not very well known but its pretty nice as well.

Chileno beach, this is one of the only places in the corridor that you can use for photos that has rock formations and that is swimmable.
This is another set of photos from the same Chileno Beach location with another TTD (trashing of the dress) shoot, it has alot to offer and its open to anyone.
Beach of the Sheraton Hotel, anyone can go there, you have to go inside Cabo del Sol, once inside the gates of Cabo del Sol go to where the Sheraton hotel is and keep going after the hotel and you will find an entrance on the side to go straight to the beach.

Town of San Jose del Cabo and sorroundings

This is more of what you would call Mexico, more traditional looking, they have the "art district" a street with restaurants, art galleries etc etc and the town hall is right in the middle of everything, we think you will like it.

One of the nicest restaurants in town is "Mi Casa" located in the heart of the art district in San Jose del Cabo.
Another very nice location is at the town center of San Jose del Cabo, you have a nice open area used for different things but you can also ride on a bike or just have fun. Great for engagement shoots.

The town of Los Barriles

Los Barriles is located halfway between La Paz and Cabo San Lucas in Baja California. A favored hideaway for anglers and adventurers.
Windsurfers also claim it is the best area for windsurfing in all of Mexico! The region around Los Barriles, also known as the East Cape, consists of a string of small settlements and villages, beautiful white sand beaches, rich fishing grounds and top-notch diving. Non-beach activities include hiking, biking, golf and horseback riding.

The town of Todos Santos

Todos Santos is a unique, desert oasis on the Tropic of Cancer, nestled amongst ancient orchards of mango and palm on the Pacific Ocean side.
The town is located on a mesa to the west of the Sierra de La Laguna mountain range, equidistant between the resort cities of Cabo San Lucas to the south and La Paz to the northeast. Blessed with the most favorable climate in Baja Sur, Todos Santos is a haven for artists, craftsmen, surfers and travelers seeking adventure, natural beauty and a healthy lifestyle.

A few images of different locations in town and towns close to Los Cabos. Each photo has a complete description of where it is located, but its separated by town or location.
