What clothes to wear for Go Ape?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that you don’t mind getting a little dirty (gym clothes are perfect, but keep in mind the harness will sit on your upper thighs and waist, so longer shorts are best) and closed toe shoes such as sneakers or hiking boots..
Can you go to go ape in the rain?
Go Ape is an excellent wet weather activity. Our courses are substantially sheltered from rain and wind by the trees themselves so as long as you’re appropriately dressed for the weather you should still have great memories of your experience.
Can you take dogs to go ape?
Yes you can. There are a number of trails around the Glentress area. It’s beautiful.

Go Ape is $57 for ages 16+ and $37 for ages 10-15, plus tax.
How long does go ape last?
On average it takes between 2 and 3 hours to complete a Go Ape Treetop Adventure course. Go Ape Treetop Journey takes 1 hour. This can vary based on the size of your group and how busy a day it is at the course.
Can you take your phone on Go Ape?
Any mobile devices such as cameras or mobile phones that you wish to take on the course must be attached to you at all times or switched off and kept in a secure pocket. If you will be supervising any under 16 year olds.

The TreeTop Adventure course is designed for children aged 6 to 12 years old. However, under 6’s can do the course as long as they are at least 1 metre tall and are likely to enjoy it. One adult can supervise two children, but only one child is recommended if it is their first time.
